These felted wool coasters are absorbant and look fabulous under a glass of wine at your next gathering. Protect your tabletops from damage with style and color. A nice bowl with a handy leather strap secured with a grommet keeps your coaster set together when not in use.
Each bowl is first hand crocheted with a 85/15 wool/mohair blend, then wet felted, dried around molds to create their shapes and finally trimmed and steam blocked.
Before they are wet felted, the crocheted bowls are much larger in shape but the process of felting them causes them to shrink into a tight, felted fabric.
