Middleburg
Susan is a former art director/creative director in advertising. Now a full-time artist living on her 100 year old farmette in St. Charles, Illinois. Her favorite mediums are papier mache done with paper pulp, a 17th century technique of casting ornamentation. The pulp she uses is very earth friendly coming from 100% recyceled paper. She creates simple things that come form inspirations of history, antiques and feelings.
Middleburg is Green...it's not just a saying, it's truly the way we started. All of our papier mache pieces are made from 100% recycled ground newspaper. We just add water and a biodegradable binder. Our paints and glues are all made in the USA--not just beautiful but smart too.
