Mew Baby
Long oppressed by the corporate giant, Mew was created as the whimsical escape of a 6'x8' cubicle with ace-bandage colored walls. What began as a doodle in the margin of a legal pad has bloomed into a unique and charming operation.
Alissa Sampogna is the designer and illustrator behind the freshly hatched Mew Baby. A peek into her studio in suburban Danbury, Connecticut would reveal her cat (and business partner) Cooper practicing being a rug and probably one or two empty tea cups.
Every item in the Mew Baby studio has been handmade with pure intentions for the environment, the artist and you, the consumer.
